R6 Y11S2 Buffs and Nerfs 2026: Current Balance Changes
See the operators that gained real Ranked value, the latest Y11S2.1 refinements and which changes matter before your next queue.
What are the biggest R6 Y11S2 buffs and nerfs?
Gridlock is the clearest launch winner: TRAX now have 35 HP, deploy faster and apply a 10-second limp, although she carries three canisters instead of four. Nomad gained a 3.25-meter Airjab range and every AK-74M grip. Zofia returned to 2 Speed and 2 Health.
Y11S2 also improved Mozzie, Pulse, Solis and Deimos. The latest Y11S2.1 update added a 7-second cooldown to Dokkaebi’s Jegeo Payload and smaller buffs for Sens, IQ, Ash, Finka, Thatcher, the SC3000K and Bulletproof Camera. Thorn received a lighter 10-second post-hit limp.

Operation System Override did not flatten the entire meta. It strengthened specific operator jobs. Gridlock became harder to ignore, Nomad gained more reliable flank control, and several defenders received small range or duration improvements that reward better information.
Y11S2.1 added one real nerf and several refinements
The June 23 update targeted Dokkaebi’s ability to chain Jegeo Payload activations. The rest of the balancing was mostly controlled quality-of-life work.
Gridlock and Nomad gain the clearest everyday value
Gridlock now punishes defenders who sprint through TRAX without clearing them. At 35 HP, a stinger can require more commitment to remove. The 10-second limp and blood trail extend the value after contact. Losing one canister prevents the buff from becoming free map-wide control.
Nomad is less dramatic but more consistent. A larger Airjab detection radius improves doorway and flank coverage, while full AK-74M grip access lets players choose recoil control or movement comfort without giving up the weapon.
Harder TRAX and stronger post-trigger punishment.
More reliable Airjabs and flexible AK-74M grips.
2 Speed restores smoother rotations and entry timing.
10.5-meter scan range opens safer vertical reads.
Dokkaebi moved from global calls to targeted pressure
Jegeo Payload starts with one resource, can hold five charges and refills every 25 seconds. It needs a valid identified target. The defender has seven seconds to respond before the phone explodes for 40 HP, creates fire for five seconds and removes phone access from that target.
Camera hacking remains global without direct line of sight but lasts 20 seconds. The remaster also added the XK23 and removed Stun Grenades. Y11S2.1 then introduced a seven-second activation cooldown so attackers cannot chain payloads without a defender response window.
Confirmed intel can become damage, fire and a forced phone reset.
No Stun Grenades and a cooldown reinforce coordinated follow-up play.

The XK23 adds a stable high-damage option
The XK23 launched for Dokkaebi, Rauora and Sens. Ubisoft positioned it as a controllable assault rifle with high damage, moderate rate of fire and flexible attachments.
The Extended Barrel can push damage to 54, but that trades recoil-focused muzzle support for raw stopping power. The AK-74M change is simpler: Nomad now gets horizontal, vertical and angled grips like Deimos.
Turn balance notes into a four-round test
Do not rebuild every lineup from a patch list. Test the operators whose job already fits the site and measure whether the new value changes your execute.
Choose flank watch, area denial, entry, intel or disruption before the operator.
Place TRAX for forced clears or Airjabs for the new detection radius.
Did the gadget create time, movement, information or a clean fight?
Retain the pick when it improves the plan, not because patch notes call it a buff.
Gridlock and Nomad are strongest when the team uses their control to execute, not when gadgets are thrown randomly.
Pulse, Mozzie, Solis and Deimos gained reliability. The value disappears if teammates act too late.
A familiar operator with the right site job remains better than a newly buffed pick with no purpose.
