Fortnite Excalibur Skin: Free Unlock, Eligible Warframe Items & Price
Excalibur has two official routes into your Fortnite Locker. Use an eligible Warframe purchase for the automatic gift or buy the Gaming Legends Outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks. This guide shows exactly what counts.
Excalibur is a gift with an eligible Warframe purchase, not a free Warframe download.
Buy a product that appears on Epic’s live Gift with Purchase list while signed into the Epic account used for Fortnite. The Outfit is granted automatically. Claiming the free Warframe base game does not qualify. The second route is the Fortnite Shop at 1,500 V-Bucks.
Eligible Epic Games Store purchases after December 10, 2020 also count. If you bought Excalibur within the last 12 months and later complete a qualifying Warframe purchase, Epic grants 1,500 V-Bucks once instead of a duplicate Outfit.
The two official ways to get Excalibur in Fortnite
The collaboration does not use a quest, tournament or code. Epic and Warframe document two direct routes. One begins with an eligible Warframe transaction through the Epic Games Store. The other is a normal Fortnite Shop purchase.
Complete a transaction for an exact product on the official eligibility page. Epic detects the purchase on the account and places Excalibur in the linked Fortnite Locker.
- No V-Bucks needed for the Outfit
- The Warframe product still costs real money
- Older eligible EGS transactions can count
- The free base game alone does not count
Open the Excalibur offer in Fortnite and purchase the Outfit directly. This is the clean route for players who do not want a Warframe product.
- Gaming Legends Series Outfit
- Part of the Warframe set
- Normal Shop rotation applies
- No Warframe transaction required
Which Warframe purchases unlock the Fortnite Excalibur skin?
The live Epic Games Store Gift with Purchase page is the final authority. A product qualifies only when its exact name appears under Warframe with Excalibur Outfit shown in the grant column. Spending the same amount on an unlisted item does not substitute for an eligible product.
Current examples on Epic’s list include the 175 Platinum 2026 pack, TennoCon 2026 Digital Pack, Voruna Prime Access offers, Mesa Heirloom Collection and several other packs. These examples prove the range of eligible products, not a permanent shortlist. A row can be added, renamed or removed.
How to claim the Excalibur Outfit through Warframe
No separate Fortnite code is required. The safest workflow starts with the account and eligibility page, not with a search result for a cheap key.
Use the Epic account that owns or links to the Fortnite Locker where you want Excalibur.
Find the Warframe section on the live Gift with Purchase page and read the product plus platform fields.
Copy the product name and open its official Epic Games Store offer. Similar names are not enough.
Check the display name and email hint before payment. The grant follows the purchasing Epic account.
Save the Epic Games Store receipt and order identifier. Do not rely only on a bank notification.
Restart the game if it was already open. The Outfit should arrive automatically in the Locker.
Look for Excalibur under Outfits and confirm that the Gaming Legends item is archived or favorited as expected.
If nothing arrives, send Epic Support the product name, receipt, transaction time and affected Epic account.
Old eligible Warframe purchases can unlock Excalibur
Epic’s Warframe FAQ includes retroactive eligibility. An eligible item purchased through the Epic Games Store after December 10, 2020 can grant the Excalibur Outfit. That does not mean every Warframe transaction since that date qualifies.
Use the Epic account order history to match the exact product name and date.
The store receipt must come from the Epic Games Store for this promotion.
A free base game library entry is not a paid eligible product.
Keep the original receipt and ask Epic Support to verify the historical offer mapping.
Where to check an old transaction
Open the Epic account Transactions page and filter the date range. Compare the receipt title with the current eligibility page. If the grant is absent despite a direct match, do not buy the same pack again just to test it. Contact support first.
How much is Excalibur in the Fortnite Shop?
Fortnite lists Excalibur as a 1,500 V-Bucks Gaming Legends Series Outfit from the Warframe set. It entered the Fortnite Shop on July 11, 2026 at 8 PM ET, one hour after the gift route became active.
V-Bucks for the Excalibur Outfit through the Fortnite Shop.
No separate V-Bucks charge after an eligible paid Warframe purchase.
Epic ties the offer to Warframe availability and Epic payment support, not a fixed published end date.
Item Shop rotation and promotion duration are different. Excalibur may leave the visible daily shop while the Warframe gift route remains available. Epic says the Outfit can return to the Shop later, so a missing Shop card does not prove that the collaboration ended.
For general Shop purchase and return behavior, use the Fortnite Web Item Shop Guide. This article keeps the Excalibur promotion rules separate.
The one-time 1,500 V-Bucks compensation explained
Buying Excalibur first does not automatically waste the later gift. If the Outfit is already owned from the Fortnite Shop and the same Epic account then completes an eligible Warframe purchase, Epic replaces the duplicate with a one-time grant of 1,500 V-Bucks.
The Outfit must come from a Fortnite Shop purchase, not an earlier free grant.
The Excalibur purchase must be within the previous 12 months.
The later transaction must match the live official eligibility list.
The account receives one grant instead of a second Excalibur Outfit.
Should you buy Excalibur before buying Warframe?
Only if you want the Outfit immediately and accept the promotion conditions. If you already plan to buy a listed Warframe product, completing that purchase first is simpler because it avoids waiting for a compensation grant. If you do not want Warframe content, the 1,500 V-Bucks Shop route is cleaner.
Can you gift a Warframe item and still grant Excalibur?
Epic Support states that when an eligible Warframe item is gifted to a friend through the Epic Games Store, the friend receives Excalibur. The recipient and product still need to satisfy the promotion rules.
The gift must reach the Epic account connected to the friend’s intended Fortnite Locker.
The documented reward follows the eligible gift recipient, not a second Locker chosen later.
Verify the recipient and exact product because a mistaken account can complicate the automatic grant.
Which Excalibur unlock route is best?
The best route depends on whether the Warframe product has real value to you. Do not buy a large bundle only because a guide labels the Outfit free. Compare the final regional checkout price with the cost of the V-Bucks you would otherwise use.
An eligible Platinum pack or bundle can serve two games with one transaction.
Check the Locker and transaction history before spending anything new.
Paying 1,500 V-Bucks avoids buying Warframe content you will not use.
Do not substitute a similar pack. Wait for the official list or support confirmation.
What is the cheapest eligible Warframe purchase?
The answer depends on region, taxes, discounts and which products are currently purchasable. Epic’s list names eligible products but does not guarantee that the lowest-priced row is available in every store region. Open the official list, choose a currently purchasable product and compare the final checkout total. Never rely on a stale price screenshot.
Make sure Excalibur reaches the correct Fortnite account
The reward follows the Epic account used for the eligible Epic Games Store transaction. PC and mobile players can sign into Fortnite with that account directly. Console players need their PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo account connected to the same Epic account.
If you need to identify the account before paying, use the Fortnite Epic Account ID Guide. Do not unlink a console profile as a first troubleshooting step. Unlinking can introduce new access and progression problems without repairing an invalid purchase.
Fortnite Excalibur Outfit missing from the Locker
Most missing grants come from one of four boundaries: the wrong product, the wrong storefront, the wrong Epic account or a client that has not refreshed. Check them in that order before making another purchase.
Download ownership is not an eligible paid transaction. Choose a listed product only if you actually want it.
Check purchasePrice and total spend cannot replace the exact Gift with Purchase row.
Match nameThis promotion requires the eligible transaction through the Epic Games Store.
Check storeCompare the receipt account with the display name and connected console account used in Fortnite.
Check identityClose the game completely, relaunch it and inspect Recent Items plus archived Outfits.
Restart gameMatch the receipt date after December 10, 2020 and exact eligible product name.
Save receiptConfirm the Excalibur purchase was within 12 months and that compensation was not already granted once.
Check windowContact Epic Support with the order ID, time, product name, platform and screenshots from the Locker.
EscalateFortnite Excalibur skin FAQ
How do I get the Excalibur skin in Fortnite?
Purchase a Warframe product that appears on the official Epic Games Store Gift with Purchase list while signed into the correct Epic account. Excalibur is then granted automatically to the linked Fortnite Locker. You can also buy the Outfit directly in the Fortnite Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks.
Is the Fortnite Excalibur skin free?
Excalibur is a bonus with an eligible paid Warframe purchase, so it is not a free reward for downloading Warframe. Players who already want an eligible Warframe item can receive the Outfit without spending V-Bucks. The separate Fortnite Shop price is 1,500 V-Bucks.
Does downloading Warframe for free unlock Excalibur?
No. Claiming or installing the free Warframe base game does not qualify. The transaction must be for a product currently named on Epic’s official Gift with Purchase eligibility list.
Which Warframe purchases unlock the Fortnite Excalibur Outfit?
Only Warframe products shown on the live Epic Games Store Gift with Purchase page qualify. The list includes named Platinum packs, supporter packs, Prime Access offers and other add-ons, but it can change. Match the exact product name and platform before paying.
Do old Epic Games Store Warframe purchases qualify?
Yes. Epic’s Warframe FAQ says any eligible item purchased through the Epic Games Store after December 10, 2020 can grant Excalibur. The old transaction still needs to match an item on the official eligibility list.

The Excalibur Outfit costs 1,500 V-Bucks in the Fortnite Shop. It is a Gaming Legends Series Outfit from the Warframe set. Shop rotation can change, so check the live offer before adding V-Bucks.
What happens if I bought Excalibur before an eligible Warframe item?
Epic grants 1,500 V-Bucks once instead of a duplicate Outfit. The compensation applies only when the Excalibur Outfit was purchased within the last 12 months and the later Warframe transaction is eligible.
Why is the Fortnite Excalibur Outfit missing from my Locker?
Confirm the Warframe product appears on the official eligibility list, the Epic Games Store purchase completed on the correct Epic account and any console account is linked to that account. Restart Fortnite, check Recent Items and contact Epic Support with the receipt if the grant still does not appear.
