What counts as the first Fortnite Gift Card redemption?

What if you already redeemed a new Gift Card?

How to redeem the first Gift Card for GHOST Monks
The card must land on the Epic account that owns the intended Fortnite Locker. Slow down before confirmation because the Outfit and account balance follow the account used during redemption.
Use a currency-value Fortnite Gift Card, not an older card printed with a V-Bucks amount.

Can one Gift Card unlock GHOST Monks and Celebration Ball?
The two offers can overlap, but their eligibility rules are not identical. Celebration Ball is a Back Bling promotion from June 8 until July 19, 2026. GHOST Monks is the first-card Outfit offer through December 31.

What happens to the Gift Card balance after the Outfit unlock?
The GHOST Monks reward does not consume the gift card value. Redemption adds the printed currency amount to Epic account balance, and the Outfit is the promotional extra.
The first new card adds its currency value to the signed-in Epic account.
GHOST Monks should appear in the Fortnite Locker on that same account.
Use funds for supported Fortnite offers, V-Bucks, Epic games or other eligible content.
Unused account balance remains available under Epic’s balance terms.

Epic allows for later availability after the promotion, without promising it.

Which Gift Card value makes sense for GHOST Monks?
