Link MyDisney to Fortnite and unlock Carbonite Fishstick
Connect the correct eligible Epic and MyDisney accounts before October 31, 2026. This guide shows the exact link path, the checks that prevent a wrong-account mistake and what to do if the Back Bling does not arrive.
Sign in to the Epic account that owns your locker, then connect MyDisney under Linked Accounts.
Open your Epic Games Account page, choose Linked Accounts or Apps and Accounts, select Link or Connect under MyDisney and finish the MyDisney prompts. Eligible accounts linked by October 31, 2026 unlock the Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling on that Epic account.
Confirm the Epic account before the reward lands
Carbonite Fishstick is granted to the Epic Games account used in the linking flow. That matters when a player has one Epic login for PC, another console-created profile or several email addresses. The safest route is to open Fortnite first, note the active Epic display name and Epic Account ID, then sign in to that exact account in a browser.
Skins and progress remain tied to the Epic account, not the MyDisney login.
Do not reuse another household member’s account to chase a second reward.
Epic publishes the full supported-location list in its linking FAQ.
Finish the connection before the official offer window closes.
How to link MyDisney to Fortnite in four steps
The official Fortnite offer page calls the menu Apps and Accounts, while Epic Player Support may label it Linked Accounts. The wording can differ with the account interface, but the MyDisney connection is the same.
Open the Epic Account portal and verify the display name and connected platforms before continuing.
Use the account navigation to find Linked Accounts or Apps and Accounts.
Click Link or Connect beneath the MyDisney option. If no option appears, check the eligibility section below.
Sign in with your own MyDisney account, review the prompt and return to Epic after the connection succeeds.
A missing MyDisney button is usually an eligibility signal
Epic says the connection is not available everywhere and both the Epic Games account and MyDisney account must be eligible. If the MyDisney tile is missing or the flow stops, that does not automatically mean the browser is broken.
Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom and many other locations appear in Epic’s current supported list.
Epic can evaluate region and account details before exposing or completing the link.
Use Epic’s eligibility page instead of third-party links, VPN workarounds or shared logins.
Epic does not publish one universal manual override for an ineligible pair. Check that each account uses accurate information, that the location is supported and that the player is not trying to link through somebody else’s household account. If the official page still does not offer the MyDisney option, contact Epic Player Support rather than repeatedly unlinking other services.
What should happen after the accounts are linked
The official Fortnite and Disney page says Carbonite Fishstick will be waiting in the Fortnite Locker after eligible account linking. The reward is a Back Bling, so look under Back Blings rather than Outfits.
In most countries, the Disney+ login is a MyDisney account. That does not mean one family login should be reused for every Fortnite player. Epic specifically recommends using your own MyDisney account, and only one MyDisney account can be linked to an Epic Games account.
Carbonite Fishstick missing? Check the account path first
Epic previously documented a delivery issue affecting some players who linked, unlinked and then linked MyDisney again. The support notice said first-time linkers were receiving the Back Bling normally and scheduled a grant for affected re-linkers on May 2, 2026. Because that date has passed, a missing reward in July should be checked against the current account state rather than an old expected-grant date.
Make sure the browser account and the account currently open in Fortnite are the same.
A completed prompt is not enough if the Epic portal does not show an active connection.
Open Back Blings, remove Favorites or Archived filters and search again.
Include the Epic Account ID, link date, region and a screenshot of the connected status.
Do not unlink MyDisney just to move the reward
Epic states that rewards cannot be transferred between Epic Games accounts. Linking MyDisney to the wrong Epic account therefore cannot be corrected by moving Carbonite Fishstick to the preferred Locker afterward.
Support does not provide a cross-account cosmetic transfer route.
Use a personal eligible login rather than a shared household identity.
Epic says future linking rewards can reach accounts that stay connected.
This is different from connecting PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo or other gaming platforms. For those platform-specific rules, use the dedicated Fortnite Linked Accounts Guide.
Carbonite Fishstick is free now, but not promised as exclusive
The account link gives eligible players a free route during the promotion. Epic’s MyDisney FAQ also says the Back Bling may become purchasable in the Fortnite Shop after November 1, 2026. Treat the reward as a current free promotion, not as proof of permanent exclusivity.
Complete the official connection while the promotion is active.
Epic says the Back Bling may be sold later; it does not guarantee a release date.
A promotional item alone does not determine the value of an entire Fortnite Locker.
Use only the official Epic and MyDisney flow
Account-link promotions attract fake reward pages. Start from the official Fortnite Disney page or your logged-in Epic Account portal, check the domain before entering a password and never give a one-time security code to another person.
Navigate from the official offer or Epic account settings.
Confirm the Epic display name before granting the MyDisney connection.
A seller, creator or support impersonator does not need your login or 2FA code.
Account-linking details checked for this guide
The deadline, reward, menu path, supported-location rule, one-account limit, transfer restriction and previous reward-delivery notice were checked against first-party Fortnite and Epic Games pages on July 14, 2026.
Fortnite MyDisney Account Link FAQ
How do I link MyDisney to Fortnite?
Sign in to the Epic account that owns your Fortnite Locker, open Linked Accounts or Apps and Accounts, choose Link or Connect beneath MyDisney and complete the MyDisney authorization prompts.
How do I get the Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling?
Link an eligible MyDisney account to the eligible Epic Games account that owns your Locker by October 31, 2026. The Back Bling is then delivered to that Epic account.
When does the Carbonite Fishstick offer end?
The official Fortnite and Disney offer page lists October 31, 2026 as the final day of the account-link promotion.
Why is the MyDisney link button missing?
Epic says linking requires a supported location and two eligible accounts. A missing option can indicate that the region or one of the accounts does not meet the current linking requirements.
Is MyDisney the same as Disney Plus?
In most countries, Disney Plus uses MyDisney for sign-in. Epic recommends using your own eligible MyDisney account rather than another household member’s account.
Why is Carbonite Fishstick missing after linking?
Confirm the MyDisney connection under the same Epic account open in Fortnite, restart the game, open Back Blings and clear Locker filters. If it is still missing, contact Epic Support with the account ID, date and connected-status screenshot.
Is Carbonite Fishstick exclusive?
No. Epic says it may become purchasable in the Fortnite Shop after November 1, 2026. The active link offer is a way to unlock it for free.
Can I transfer the reward to another Fortnite account?
No. Epic says items and rewards cannot be transferred between Epic Games accounts. Confirm the correct Locker before linking.
