Fortnite Runners Sprite Tier List: Best v41.10 Powers
Boss, Aura, Grim Reaper, Striker and Fishy each reward a different decision. This tier list ranks the five new Runners powers by repeatable value in solo, squad and Zero Build, not by rarity alone.
Boss and Aura are the safest default Sprite picks.
Boss Sprite is the most reliable all-round choice because maximum Health and Shield matter in almost every fight. Aura Sprite is the highest-upside proactive pick when you can turn dealt damage into a Shock Rock charge. Pick Grim Reaper for squad information, Striker for mantle-heavy movement and Fishy only when water routes are part of your actual plan.
The five new Sprites, ranked by dependable match value
A tier list should answer one useful question: which power gives you the most repeatable value when the next fight, zone and loadout are unknown? This is an editorial ranking of the five Sprites introduced in v41.10. It does not claim that one choice wins every endgame.
Reliable survivability applies before you know whether the next win condition is damage, rotation or a long duel.
Best default for solo and squadsTurns successful damage into a movement resource. Its ceiling is high when you actively use the charge to enter, escape or reposition.
Best aggressive conversion pickInformation becomes strong when teammates call the mark, deny the chase or collapse together instead of treating it as background noise.
Best coordinated-squad pickA practical movement boost on routes with repeatable vaults and elevation changes, but less universal on flat or open rotations.
Best terrain-dependent mobilityExcellent when a water rotation is guaranteed; less dependable when the match never asks you to swim or when the damage trigger would be unsafe.
Best map- and route-specific optionPick for the match you are actually playing
The clean way to avoid a fake “best Sprite” answer is to decide whether your team needs durability, proactive movement or information. Carrying a niche movement power without a route for it is weaker than taking the simple, repeatable advantage.
Start with Boss. Extra maximum Health and Shield do not depend on a teammate, a specific POI or an opponent making a mistake.
Use Aura when you can reliably deal damage and immediately convert a Shock Rock charge into cover, height or a reset.
Use Grim Reaper when the mark creates a call: which player is exposed, where the push is coming from and whether to re-peek.
Do not confuse collection progress with the best carry
Epic’s Runners overview says collected Sprites can be brought into future matches and levelled up. That creates two separate decisions: which Sprite you want to progress, and which power gives the current match the strongest value. They are often not the same answer.
Use Boss, Aura or Grim Reaper when they solve a real fight or rotation problem now.
Only farm Sprite progress when it does not turn a secured game into a reckless route across open ground.
At review time, Epic was promoting Mastery Mondays. Treat the in-game event panel as the final schedule, because timings can rotate.
New Sprites, variants and balance adjustments can change a tier placement. A static screenshot is not a live tier list.
Holofoil interest is high. Availability is a live-status question
Holofoil variants are a fresh Runners search topic, but this page should not promise that a variant is usable merely because it appeared in a past event or screenshot. Epic Support has stated that Holofoil and Gem Sprites were temporarily disabled after appearing through a Sprite Hunt rift anomaly.
Use the current in-game Sprite collection and event panel before spending a session hunting a variant.
Temporary availability is not a permanent feature. Avoid publishing a route as though it were guaranteed after a live fix.
If the status changes, update this section and the visible review date rather than creating a competing Holofoil URL.
This page ranks powers; the supporting guides answer the other questions
This separation is intentional. A player searching for a tier list wants a decision between powers, not a duplicate walkthrough on how to extract, where to land or which Runners weapon to carry. Keep each URL useful for one primary job.
Fortnite Runners Sprite Tier List FAQ
What are the best new Fortnite Runners Sprites in v41.10?
Boss and Aura are the strongest default choices in this editorial list. Boss improves maximum Health and Shield, while Aura can reward dealt damage with a Shock Rock charge. Grim Reaper becomes stronger in a coordinated team, while Striker and Fishy depend more on terrain and route.
What does the Boss Sprite do?
Boss Sprite boosts your maximum Health and Shield. It is the easiest recommendation when you want an advantage that remains useful even if the match does not give you a perfect movement route or a coordinated squad push.
What does the Aura Sprite do?
Aura Sprite gives you a Shock Rock charge after you deal enough damage. The value comes from converting that resource into a deliberate entry, escape or reposition rather than holding it too long.
Is Grim Reaper Sprite good in solo?
It can still be useful, but the attacker mark has more value when a squad reacts to the information together. In solo, the simple durability of Boss or the self-directed movement from Aura is usually easier to convert.
Are Holofoil Sprites available right now?
Check the current in-game status. Epic Support has noted that Holofoil and Gem Sprites were temporarily disabled after an early Sprite Hunt rift anomaly, so a past screenshot is not a guarantee of current availability.
Where can I learn how to extract a Sprite?
Use the dedicated Fortnite Runners Sprites Extraction Guide linked above. Keeping the extraction walkthrough separate lets this page stay focused on tiering powers and choosing a carry.
