VALORANT Challengers Americas LCQ 2026
Teams, exact match order, converted start times, Bo3 round robin, Bo5 final, official streams and the one qualification detail fans should not misunderstand.
Three regional Seed 2 teams play for one VCT Americas Play-Ins slot.
The VALORANT Challengers Americas LCQ 2026 starts July 28 with three Bo3 round-robin matches between North America, Brazil and LATAM. Third place is eliminated; the top two play a Bo5 Grand Final on July 29. The winner reaches the VCT Americas Play-Ins—not Champions directly. Shopify Rebellion Black and 2GAME Esports are currently locked in; the July 27 Contra vs BESTIA loser completes the field.
The entire LCQ fits into two high-pressure days
This is not a large open qualifier and it is not the later VCT Americas Play-Ins. The LCQ is a compact bridge between regional Challengers and the VCT Americas Stage 2 pathway. Only three teams enter, every regional pairing is played once, and one bad series can be enough to end a season.
Riot’s official schedule separates the tournament cleanly: July 28 is the three-match round robin and July 29 is the Bo5 Grand Final. That makes the event easy to follow, but difficult for teams to prepare. A roster can play two Bo3s on the same day, with limited reset time and no lower bracket to rescue a slow start.
One Seed 2 entry from NA, Brazil and LATAM.
Single round robin; every regional matchup happens once.
First and second place meet in the Grand Final.
The final Challengers berth in VCT Americas Play-Ins.
Where the Americas LCQ sits in the 2026 system
The 2026 Path to Champions replaced the old Ascension endpoint with a more immediate route into each International League’s final stage. In the Americas, four Challengers representatives enter the VCT Americas Play-Ins. The first regional representatives qualify through their own NA, Brazil and LATAM paths; the LCQ decides the fourth and final Challengers team.
NA, Brazil and LATAM determine their leading teams.
Three Seed 2 entries fight for the final berth.
Four Challengers teams join lower VCT group finishers.
Play-Ins survivors reach the season’s decisive bracket.
Stage 2 results and Championship Points decide Shanghai.
That sequence matters for search intent and for expectations. A fan looking for the LCQ needs two days of match information. A fan looking for the later Play-Ins needs the larger double-elimination bracket, VCT opponents and qualification math. ALVIRAN keeps those topics on separate URLs so each page answers one clear question.
Challengers Americas LCQ 2026 teams
Two names are known as of July 17. Shopify Rebellion Black lead the North American circuit route after finishing behind M80 in the final regional stage, while 2GAME Esports hold Brazil’s second pathway through the circuit standings. LATAM is intentionally still marked TBA because its regional final happens one day before the LCQ.
Shopify Rebellion Black
SR Black reached the North American Stage 3 Grand Final and finished first in the relevant circuit-points race outside the direct regional qualifier.
2GAME Esports
2GAME finished the Brazilian season path with the circuit position that sends the region’s second representative into the Americas LCQ.
Contra or BESTIA
The winner of the LATAM final takes the direct route; the loser becomes LATAM’s LCQ representative less than 24 hours before the qualifier begins.
A Bo3 round robin feeds one Bo5 final
Each team plays the other two teams once on July 28. All three series are best-of-three—not best-of-one. When the round robin ends, the team in third place is eliminated. First and second advance to the July 29 Grand Final, where the winner is decided across a best-of-five.
Single round robin
Three regional matchups, three Bo3 series and no rematch before the standings are calculated.
LCQ Grand Final
Round-robin first place faces second place. Third place has already been eliminated.
The format rewards both immediate readiness and stamina. The NA representative appears in the first two matches; Brazil plays the first and third; LATAM plays the last two. Depending on series length, one team can receive a longer gap while another must return almost immediately. That scheduling pressure is part of the competitive story, even though the bracket itself is small.
Americas LCQ match times for CEST, ET and BRT
Riot publishes the base schedule in Mexico City time. The conversions below use Mexico City at UTC−6, US Eastern daylight time at UTC−4, Brasília time at UTC−3 and Central European summer time at UTC+2. CEST viewers should watch the date rollover: the second and third round-robin series begin after midnight in Germany if the timetable holds.

All listed times are tentative. Riot says consecutive matches use a rolling schedule. A short 2–0 can bring the next desk segment forward; overtime, pauses or a full three-map series can push it back. Treat M2 and M3 as planning windows, then follow the live broadcast and official event page.
The simple 2–0, 1–1, 0–2 table is only one scenario
Riot’s format graphic uses a 2–0 team in first, a 1–1 team in second and a 0–2 team in third to illustrate how advancement works. The same graphic warns that these records are examples, not a guaranteed result. All three teams can finish 1–1, which creates a genuine tiebreaker rather than a clean win-loss ranking.
That roster is safely in the top two. The head-to-head between the remaining 1–1 and 0–2 outcomes normally makes third place obvious.
No team can be ranked by match record alone. Riot says the tiebreaker criteria in the official rules are then applied.
Do not assume map differential, round differential or head-to-head order unless the event administration publishes that exact sequence.
Official Americas LCQ Twitch and YouTube streams
Riot lists the official Challengers channels for all three participating regions. Choose the language and production you prefer; the match feed follows the same rolling schedule. If one channel is not live yet, check the other official regional channels before relying on an unofficial restream.

One win opens the Play-Ins door—nothing more is automatic
The Grand Final winner completes the four-team Challengers group entering the VCT Americas Play-Ins. Riot’s Stage 2 overview says those four Challenger teams join the VCT Americas teams that did not secure direct Playoff positions from their groups. The Play-Ins use a double-elimination bracket and decide which teams continue into the Stage 2 Playoffs.
That is a major opportunity: a Tier 2 roster can face International League organizations with a live path toward Stage 2 and Champions. But it remains a path, not a direct qualification. The team must still beat stronger opposition after the LCQ, then perform in the later bracket where Champions places and Championship Points matter.
The winner joins the other three Challengers representatives. Riot does not describe the LCQ prize as an automatic Champions, Playoff or long-term partnership slot.
Short turnaround, regional style clashes and a possible second series on the same day reward flexible map pools, disciplined vetoes and fast anti-stratting.
SR Black are scheduled in M1 and M2. Their recovery and opponent preparation need to work without a long mid-day reset.
The LATAM Seed 2 is decided July 27, then enters LCQ play on July 28. That creates the shortest public preparation window of the three regions.
What is confirmed and what changes next
This page separates fixed format information from live event data. That keeps the article useful before, during and after the LCQ without silently turning tentative details into facts.
Riot confirmed the July 28 Bo3 round robin, July 29 Bo5 final, rolling schedule, regional broadcasts and final Play-Ins berth.
Shopify Rebellion Black and 2GAME Esports are listed in the current LCQ field; LATAM remains unresolved.
The winner takes LATAM’s direct place; the loser becomes the region’s LCQ participant.
