Valorant Gifting Guide 2026: Skins, VP and Bundle Limits
Valorant gifting lets you buy selected items for friends, but it has account requirements, friendship rules, daily limits and refund edge cases. Here is the clean version before you send VP, skins or bundle gifts.
Based on Riot’s official Valorant gifting support page.
How does gifting work in Valorant?
Valorant gifting lets you purchase eligible store content for a friend instead of buying it for your own account. Riot currently lists featured store bundles, individual items inside those bundles, Esports bundles and VP gifting as supported options, with VP gifting available on PC.
The important part is that gifting is not a free transfer system. You are not moving skins from your account to another account. You are buying eligible content for someone else through Riot’s store flow. That distinction matters because it affects refunds, ownership, daily limits and what happens if a gift is rejected.
Before sending a gift, check the recipient, item, region and price carefully. Once a gift is accepted, you should treat it as final unless local rules say otherwise.
Valorant gifting requirements in 2026
Riot’s rules are designed to reduce abuse, payment problems and accidental gifts. If gifting is missing or blocked, the issue is often one of these requirements rather than a bug.
| Requirement | What it means | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Sender level | The gifting account must be at least level 15. | New throwaway accounts cannot instantly send gifts. |
| Friendship time | Sender and recipient must be friends for at least one week. | This reduces rushed or suspicious gift activity. |
| Account status | Neither account should be under a long or permanent ban. | Restricted accounts may lose access to gifting. |
| Daily limit | You can send up to ten gifts per day. | High-volume gifting is limited. |
| Owned content | You cannot gift content the recipient already owns. | The store avoids duplicate ownership. |
What can you gift in Valorant?
The safest way to think about Valorant gifting is simple: if Riot shows a gift option in the supported store area, use that flow. Do not trust outside sellers who claim they can move skins, duplicate bundles or send hidden cosmetics.
You can gift eligible featured store bundles when Riot makes them available in the gifting flow.
Individual items inside featured bundles may be giftable when the store supports that purchase.
Riot lists Esports bundles as giftable as-is, not as individual split purchases.
VP gifts are purchased through the gift flow on PC. You cannot send VP from your existing VP balance.
How to send a Valorant gift
The exact button can vary depending on the store item, but the safe path is always inside Valorant’s own store. Do not use a separate website or a seller who asks for your Riot login to send a gift.
Why Valorant gifting may not work
Most gifting problems have a normal explanation. The recipient may already own the item, the sender may be below level 15, the accounts may not have been friends long enough, or a daily gifting limit may have been reached.
There are also payment and account-status issues. If a payment fails, if an account is restricted, or if a gift is tied to a chargeback later, the situation can become more serious. That is why gifts should only be sent through Riot’s official store and only with payment methods you control.
What happens after a Valorant gift is sent?
After you send a gift, the recipient can accept it, reject it, or leave it unanswered. Riot states that rejected gifts are refunded to the sender’s account. If a gift is ignored for 60 days, it is also refunded to the sender.
Accepted bundle gifts are different. Once the recipient accepts the gift, you should not expect a normal refund path unless your region requires one. This is why gifting is best used when both sides are sure about the item.
Why gifting matters when comparing Valorant accounts
For account buyers, gifting is useful context because gifts can affect skin history, payment trust and account cleanliness. A good account is not only about how many skins it has. It is also about whether the account has a clear payment situation and no obvious unresolved store issues.
If you are comparing accounts, focus on region, access quality, skin collection, rank fit and whether the account is ready to use without weird payment friction. Gifting history alone does not make an account good or bad, but unclear store activity is worth checking carefully.
Does gifting increase Valorant account value?
A gift can increase account value only if the accepted content becomes part of a useful, clean collection. The gift label itself is not the value. The value comes from what the account actually has after the gift is accepted: skins, bundles, VP-related cosmetics, region fit and whether the account has no unresolved payment issues.
For example, a gifted skin for a popular rifle or knife can make an account more attractive. A random gift on the wrong region, or a gift connected to later payment problems, can do the opposite. When valuing a Valorant account, judge the final account quality rather than the fact that something was gifted.
