Checked withRiot Pick’Ems rulesVCT EMEA Stage 2VCT Americas Stage 2Official VCT schedule
Riot’s published Pick’Ems guide currently documents Masters London, not a confirmed Stage 2 opening window. Until Riot posts Stage 2 rules, this page provides independent ALVIRAN predictions: Leviatán in Americas, Team Vitality or FUT in EMEA, Paper Rex in Pacific, and EDward Gaming or Xi Lai Gaming in China. Treat every pick as a forecast, never as a result.
Is VCT Stage 2 Pick’Ems officially open?
Riot’s published Pick’Ems format for Masters London shows how the system works: players predict match outcomes, earn points for correct picks, and can make selections in the VALORANT client or on the official website. Riot also published lock times and region-specific eligibility for that event.
As of this article’s July 11 publication timestamp, no Stage 2-specific opening time, lock time or reward list is claimed here. That distinction protects the article from turning a Masters rule into a fake Stage 2 promise.
Riot Pick’Ems exists
Official Pick’Ems has been used for VCT events and can run in the client and on valorantesports.com.
Source-backedStage 2 opening window
Do not publish a lock time, reward or eligibility claim until Riot announces it for Stage 2.
Watch official newsHow the ALVIRAN prediction method works
A good Pick’Ems page should explain why a pick exists instead of hiding behind a power ranking. The pre-event model below is deliberately simple, transparent and easy to update after the first matchdays.
Upset volatility
Challengers entering play-ins, double-elimination pressure and best-of-five finals create room for a lower-seeded run.
Do not ignorePrediction is not data
Every forecast below is labeled as a pick. The live-results page remains the place for completed scores.
Keep separateRegional favorites and dark horses
These are ALVIRAN’s first pre-event calls, not official Riot rankings. Recheck them after groups, roster news and the first map pool data arrive.
| Region | Favorite pick | Next pick | Upset angle | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Americas | Leviatán | NRG / G2 Esports | A Challengers team surviving Play-Ins and breaking the direct-playoff seeding. | Medium-high |
| EMEA | Team Vitality or FUT Esports | Team Heretics | Fnatic, Team Liquid or a Challenger team can swing the double-elimination route. | Medium |
| Pacific | Paper Rex | Gen.G | Nongshim RedForce or another play-in team can punish a bad group draw. | Medium |
| China | EDward Gaming | Xi Lai Gaming | Dragon Ranger Gaming can become the bracket spoiler in a best-of-five finish. | Medium |
Why these names? Riot’s Americas preview highlights Leviatán, NRG and G2 as major contenders, while the EMEA preview lists Team Vitality and FUT at the top of the current Championship Points snapshot. The Pacific and China calls are intentionally marked medium confidence because the live brackets and regional data can move quickly.
How to pick the Champions Shanghai race
Do not limit your Pick’Ems to “who wins the final.” Stage 2 can create multiple Champions routes through playoff placement and Championship Points. In EMEA, Riot awards one point per regular-season match win and then 8, 6, 5 and 4 points for playoff places one through four.
The Americas guide lists four qualification paths: Stage 2 champion, Stage 2 runner-up, first in Championship Points and second in Championship Points. Other regions should be checked on their own official tournament pages before you publish a final qualification call.
Leviatán to reach the Americas final
Recent international momentum makes Leviatán the safer pre-event series pick, while NRG and G2 remain strong counter-picks.
Medium-highEMEA Challenger team to win a Play-In series
Four Challenger teams enter an EMEA double-elimination play-in, giving the region a larger upset surface than a normal group-only format.
MediumPick’Ems checklist
- Separate series and map picks: pick the match winner first; only chase exact 2–0 scores when the format and matchup justify it.
- Check the bracket: a group winner can receive a bye, while a lower seed may have to survive more series.
- Watch Challenger routes: EMEA and Americas add play-in volatility instead of a simple VCT-only bracket.
- Protect your lock time: use Riot’s official Pick’Ems page or client once Stage 2 rules are live.
- Do not copy old rewards: Masters London rewards and eligibility do not automatically carry over to Stage 2.
How this prediction page is updated
This page should change when Riot confirms Stage 2 Pick’Ems, when the group draw is locked, and after the first official matchdays. Every changed call should show a timestamp and a short reason.
- Mark official Riot rules separately from ALVIRAN analyst picks.
- Replace “pre-event” with “after groups” once enough match data exists.
- Keep completed results on the dedicated live-results hub.
- Remove a pick only when a team is eliminated, disqualified or officially unable to continue.
Last editorial check: July 11, 2026. The page is intentionally conservative about official Stage 2 Pick’Ems rewards and lock times.
Make your Stage 2 picks count
Use the official Riot Pick’Ems page when the event opens, then compare your bracket with the ALVIRAN forecast and the live-results hub.
VCT Stage 2 Pick’Ems questions
Is an official VCT Stage 2 Pick’Ems open?
At the July 11, 2026 publication check, Riot’s published Pick’Ems post documented Masters London. This article therefore labels its Stage 2 calls as independent ALVIRAN predictions until Riot confirms official rules.
Who are the early favorites?
Leviatán is the Americas form pick; Team Vitality and FUT lead the EMEA points snapshot; Paper Rex is the Pacific favorite; and EDward Gaming or Xi Lai Gaming are the China calls. These are forecasts, not results.
How many picks can I make?
That depends on Riot’s official Stage 2 Pick’Ems rules. Do not copy Masters London lock times, reward tiers or eligibility requirements without a Stage 2 announcement.
When is Champions Shanghai?
The official schedule lists VALORANT Champions Shanghai for September 24 through October 18, 2026.
