Why some Discord friends do not appear
Riot keeps the integrated list focused. A server member is not automatically a Discord friend, and a Discord friend is not automatically linked to Riot. The person normally needs all three conditions below before appearing in the connected experience.
The friend needs an active Riot identity for the game connection.
Sharing a server alone does not make the player part of the linked friends list.
The friend must also connect their Riot and Discord accounts.
If an old Discord connection already existed, Riot says it may need to be unlinked and connected again to receive the new benefits. This is especially relevant when Discord still labels an older Riot or League connection as legacy.
