R6 Split Fire Battle Pass: Rewards, Cost and Is It Worth It?
Check what you want from the pass before paying for the whole track. The headline reward count is only part of the decision.
In this guide
Split Fire Premium costs 1,200 R6 Credits. Buy for rewards you want and progress you realistically expect to complete before the season ends. The reward count alone does not make the pass good value for every player.
Price, dates and the main rewards
| Item | Official listing |
|---|---|
| Season window | 1 September–1 December 2026 |
| Premium Pass | 1,200 R6 Credits |
| Credit rewards | 600 R6 Credits on the track |
| Cosmetics | 18 weapon skins; Castle, Zofia and Noor bundles; one Signature Bundle |
| Packs | 20 Delta, 10 Alpha, 2 Black Ice |
| Other benefits | Boosters and 10% in-game-store discount |
The listed rewards require progression. Credit rewards are not an immediate refund, and packs should not be treated as a promise of a particular skin. The page also lists Noor’s launch early access; by this October review, that is a past launch perk rather than a fresh reason to buy.
Work out value from the rewards you would choose
Make two lists before you purchase. The first contains rewards you actively want to use. The second contains everything you would accept but would not buy on its own. Only the first list should drive the decision. A large reward count can look attractive even when most of the items will remain unused.
Open the current reward track in the client and find those desired items. Check how much progress remains between your position and each reward. If your favourite item is far away and you are not planning to play much, the pass can still be poor value for you even if the complete track looks generous.
Check your remaining playtime before buying
Estimate your playtime from recent weeks, not an ideal week where you suddenly play every evening. Work, travel, other games and a break from Siege all count. The useful question is whether you expect to make the required progress during the remaining season.
- Check your current track progress in the client.
- Find the specific rewards that matter to you.
- Compare the remaining progress with your normal schedule.
- Leave room for weeks when you play less.
- Recheck the purchase screen for the current price and remaining time.
You do not need to assign a made-up number of hours to completion. Match length, performance, available challenges and how often you play can differ. Your own recent progress is a better planning baseline than a completion claim without a stated method.
Premium Pass and Membership are different purchases
The official page offers both a standalone Premium Pass and a Membership that includes Premium access plus monthly benefits. Compare the current subscription terms and renewal price separately; one season’s pass price does not tell you the full cost of a recurring membership.
Standalone pass
Consider this when you want this season’s track and prefer a single seasonal purchase.
Membership
Consider this only if the monthly extras appeal to you and the renewal terms fit your budget.
If you already have an active membership, check whether Premium access is included before paying again. If you mainly want one cosmetic, compare the actual acquisition route for that item rather than assuming a subscription is automatically cheaper.
Treat a recurring purchase as recurring. Put the renewal date and ongoing cost in the same decision as the first month’s rewards. That avoids a common mistake: choosing a plan because the opening bundle looks good and forgetting what happens afterward.
Buy, wait or skip?
| Your situation | Practical choice |
|---|---|
| You want several track rewards and already play regularly | Check the remaining progress, then consider Premium. |
| You like one reward but are unsure you will reach it | Wait until you understand your actual pace. |
| You mainly wanted early access at launch | Do not base an October purchase on a launch window that has passed. |
| You do not like the cosmetics | Skip the pass instead of buying a reward count. |
There is no universal return-on-investment figure for cosmetics. They are a preference purchase, not an asset you should expect to repay you. A sensible decision can be “I like the set and will use it,” but it can also be “I would rather keep the credits.”
Comparing an existing inventory? Check the contents
If you are comparing an account listing, look for named items and clear inventory details. An old Battle Pass purchase does not prove that every seasonal reward was earned. Pack counts do not prove ownership of a specific Black Ice skin. Ask about the item itself when that item is what matters to you.
Keep the inventory comparison separate from this season’s pass decision. One is a question about what is already present; the other is a question about progress you still intend to complete. Mixing the two can make an attractive screenshot look more informative than it is.
Split Fire Battle Pass FAQ
Is the Split Fire Battle Pass worth buying?
It can be if you want the rewards and expect to reach them. Check your current progress and normal schedule before deciding.
Do packs guarantee a particular skin?
Do not assume that. A pack count is not evidence that a specific cosmetic will be received or is already owned.
Should I buy Membership instead of the pass?
Compare the monthly extras, renewal price and current terms. Membership is a separate recurring purchase, not simply another name for the seasonal pass.
