Patch 13.08 put Bind and Corrode back into ranked and took out Ascent and Split. Here is the current pool, every 2026 rotation from Riot's patch notes, and how often each map was in.

Valorant map pool 2026 right now: V26 Act 6
These seven maps are in the Competitive and Deathmatch queues since patch 13.08. The patch notes say it in one line: “BIND and CORRODE are IN the COMPETITIVE and DEATHMATCH queues. ASCENT and SPLIT are OUT”.

Which queues use it. Riot's notes name Competitive and Deathmatch for every rotation. Premier runs its own stage schedule in the client, and Riot's patch notes do not list a Premier map pool, so check the Premier hub before a match day.
Every Valorant map rotation in 2026
Riot announced in patch 10.00 (January 2025) that “maps will rotate every Act”. In 2026 it kept to that: each act-opening patch has a Map Pool Updates block, and no other 2026 patch changed the ranked pool. The first row is the pool that carried over from 2025.

Patch dates are the day Riot published the notes (11.08, 12.00, 12.05, 12.08, 13.00, 13.04, 13.08). The act itself starts in the game data at 00:00 UTC the following day, which is why some sites give 7 January or 14 October.
Two rotations were double swaps (Act II and Act VI), one added a brand new map (Act IV with Summit), and three were single swaps. The pool never had more or fewer than seven maps.
How often each map was in the 2026 map pool
Counted over the six acts of 2026. This is the table to check if you want to know which maps are worth learning for the long run: a map that keeps coming back is a safer investment than one that drops out after a single act.

The only map that never left in 2026. Riot even tuned its wall penetration in 12.00, together with Corrode.
Lotus and Split: 5 of 6
Lotus came in with Act II and stayed. Split ran from Act I to Act V and left with 13.08.
Icebox: 0 of 6
Out since patch 11.04 in August 2025, the longest current absence of any Spike map.

What changed for ranked in Act 6
The pool swap is the headline of patch 13.08, but three other changes matter for ranked players this act.
- Corrode updates. Defender paths to the back of A and B were shortened to speed up rotations and retakes, and the A plant zone was adjusted to make post-plant from A Link less effective.
- Map Rating. A new 0 to 500 rating with a C to S grade per map, built from overall, attacker and defender win rate plus Performance Score. It counts in Competitive and Premier, everyone started fresh on 13 October, and other players cannot see yours.
- Ban numbers. Riot listed what it banned in Act 5's detection period (18 August to 1 October): more than 171,000 cheaters, 76,000 accounts for rank manipulation and 288,000 for repeated AFK or gameplay abuse.
Riot's 13.06 notes also said Competitive Flex and updates for the Radiant experience are planned for patch 14.00.
Summit, the new map of 2026
Summit is the only new map this year. Riot posted the Summit reveal cinematic on 21 June 2026 and added it with patch 13.00 on 23 June. The notes describe a 5v5 Spike map “set in a Radiant training academy nestled in the mountains of China” with three lanes, two sites and droppable walls that reshape the map mid-round.
Riot used launch rules close to the ones Corrode got in patch 11.00: RR losses on Summit were cut by 50 % for the first two weeks while wins counted in full, and a Summit Only queue in Swiftplay format ran for seven days. Summit has been in every act since it arrived.
When the map pool changes next
The season data in the game files gives V26 Act VI a start of 14 October 2026 and an end of 6 January 2027 (00:00 UTC). With the rule from 10.00, the next rotation should come with the first patch of 2027. Riot had not announced which maps rotate as of 23 October 2026, and dataminer leaks are not confirmation, so this page will not guess.
What the 2026 pattern does tell you: the maps out longest are Icebox (since August 2025), Pearl and Fracture (since June 2026). Haven has never been out this year. We update this page when Riot publishes the notes for the next act.

Seven. Every rotation in 2026 swapped maps one for one, so the ranked pool always had seven of the thirteen Spike maps.
Is Ascent in the map pool?
No. Ascent returned in patch 12.08 (28 April 2026) and left again with 13.08 on 13 October 2026.
