Looking for a Clash Royale account?

Compare King Level, trophies and Evolutions on every listing. This guide explains what the trophy and league numbers really mean.

1. Trophy Road: the main ladder

Trophy Road is the main ladder of Clash Royale. You earn trophies by winning battles, and arenas unlock as the total rises. Supercell extended it to 12,000 trophies in its November 2025 update and to 14,000 trophies in its March 2026 update, which added Arenas 29 to 32 at 12,000, 12,500, 13,000 and 13,500 trophies.

Supercell's 1v1 battle page explains the matchmaking. It matches you against opponents with a similar trophy count, and the cards in your deck and their levels are not taken into account. King Tower Level and card levels are not capped on Trophy Road. Matchmaking ignores card levels, but Supercell's Trophy Road page says that higher arenas can need a minimum King Tower Level, so trophies show a floor of progress and not the strength of a deck.

2. Ranked: seven leagues that reset every month

Ranked was called Path of Legends until Supercell's June 2025 update renamed it. According to Supercell's Ranked page, it has seven leagues, each with its own steps to climb. Reaching the Ultimate Champion league, which is league 7, qualifies you for the Hall of Fame leaderboard.

Ranked seasons start on the first Monday of every month. At the end of a season, players are reset to Master I. Players who reached at least the Grand Champion league get a win multiplier that helps them climb back, and the multiplier drops by one after every win.

Why this matters for a buyer. A league in a screenshot describes one month. Someone in Grand Champion in the last week of a season will be in Master I on the first Monday of the next. Look at the best finish and the date, not at the league alone.

3. How an account unlocks Ranked

Ranked is unlocked by reaching a trophy requirement on Trophy Road, or by reaching the Champion league in the previous Ranked season. Supercell has been moving the requirement, and its 14 July 2026 post sets this schedule.

Trophy requirement for Ranked, 2026
MonthsTrophies needed
July and August13,000
September and October13,500
November14,000

The Ranked support page still says 13,000, which applied in July and August. On 12 October 2026 the requirement is 13,500 trophies, according to the blog post's schedule. In the same post Supercell says that more updates to the late-game competitive experience are coming later this year, so treat all of these numbers as moving.

Look at trophies together with cards

Trophies show where an account climbed, not what it owns. Compare them with the Evolutions and Champions on each listing.

4. Card levels in Ranked

Supercell said in November 2025 that cards in Ranked would be capped at level 15 for the first six months after level 16 arrived, until the May 2026 season. We found no later statement either way, so confirm the current cap in the game and ask which level a listing's deck is at.

5. What the numbers show, and what they do not

6. Five questions before you buy

  1. What is the trophy count, and does it meet the Ranked requirement for the month you plan to play?
  2. Which league was reached, in which month, and what was the best finish?
  3. Which deck do the trophies belong to, and what levels are its cards?
  4. Are King Tower Level and Collection Level shown separately from trophies?
  5. Does the listing use current names and rules, or does it still talk about Path of Legends?

7. Four mistakes that cost money

Paying for trophies alone

Trophies measure a climb. Check the cards and the deck.

Treating a league as a rank

Ranked resets every month, so a league is a snapshot.

Missing the November change

Ranked entry rises to 14,000 trophies, so check the requirement for the month you play.

Trusting old names

Path of Legends became Ranked in June 2025.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ranked the same as Path of Legends?

Yes. Supercell renamed Path of Legends to Ranked in its June 2025 update. A listing that uses the old name may have been written before then or copied from older text.

How many trophies do I need to unlock Ranked?

Supercell's schedule is 13,000 in July and August, 13,500 in September and October, which applies now, and 14,000 in November 2026. Reaching the Champion league in the previous season also keeps Ranked unlocked.

Does Ranked reset every month?

Yes. Seasons start on the first Monday of each month, and players are reset to Master I. Those who reached Grand Champion or higher get a win multiplier.

Do card levels matter in Trophy Road matchmaking?

Matchmaking uses the trophy count and ignores the cards in your deck and their levels. Levels are not capped on Trophy Road, so stronger cards still help in battle, and higher arenas can need a minimum King Tower Level.

What is the Hall of Fame?

Reaching the Ultimate Champion league, league 7, qualifies you for the Hall of Fame leaderboard shown in the game.

How high does Trophy Road go?

Trophy Road ends at 14,000 trophies since the March 2026 update, with Arenas 29 to 32 added from 12,000 trophies. Beyond it, the Seasonal Trophy Road keeps a separate count that resets every season.
