Classic Black Ice and colored variants are different collections
Classic Black Ice is the familiar icy weapon finish. Ubisoft’s 2017 Alpha Pack announcement establishes its inclusion at launch, not a permanent list of every obtainable weapon in 2026. Treat a current in-game collection preview as the relevant item check.
The colored Black Ice Pack introduced in Year 11 is a separate reward system. Its launch collection had pink, red, purple and green variants. A screenshot of a green skin therefore does not prove ownership of the classic blue finish for that weapon.
Choose a route for the item, not the pack name
A useful shortlist has three fields: weapon, color and collection. For example, “Black Ice for my SMG-11” is a more actionable target than “more rare skins”. Open the pack’s collection screen and look for that exact item before committing currency or playtime.
The current Split Fire Premium Pass advertises two Black Ice Packs. Those are packs, not two personally selected Black Ice skins. Check the reward tile and season end date when deciding whether you can earn them.

What pack odds do and do not tell you
A color probability is not the probability of receiving your preferred weapon. The result depends on the eligible weapon pool as well as the color. Do not apply launch probabilities to a changed collection, and do not assume that repeated openings make the next result certain.
Set a spending limit before opening packs. If your enjoyment depends on one exact drop, stop and reconsider the route rather than treating previous spending as a reason to continue.
Verify a collection item by item
For an inventory comparison, record each wanted weapon and color separately. Ask for a readable inventory view, then compare the equipped loadout with that list. A promotional image is an example of a cosmetic; it is not proof that every listing includes it.
The R6 Marketplace is a separate service. Do not rely on an old trading guide to promise an available purchase route; check Ubisoft’s closure announcement and any newer official update first.
