Cancel R6 Membership: Platform Steps and Renewal Checks
Cancel the subscription at the provider that bills it. Closing the game, removing an app or switching platforms does not establish that renewal has stopped.

Find the billing provider first
The device you use to play is not necessarily the provider that manages your subscription. Read the receipt or subscription page, then identify the account that paid. This avoids searching the wrong store simply because you last played on a different platform.
For example, playing on PC through a launcher does not by itself prove that the launcher bills the Membership. Use the purchase record as the starting point. If the receipt is missing, search your order history rather than subscribing again to reveal a settings page.
Cancel a Ubisoft-managed Membership
Ubisoft’s instructions are: sign in to the Ubisoft Store, open the account avatar, choose My Subscription, select Cancel Membership and confirm. These instructions also cover relevant PC subscriptions accessed through Epic Games, Game Pass or GeForce Now when managed by Ubisoft.
Afterwards, return to the subscription view. Record the changed renewal state and the remaining period. A clicked button without a confirmation or changed status is not enough evidence that cancellation completed.
If another platform bills the subscription
Use the subscription-management area of that platform account. The store’s own confirmation is the important record. Do not assume that a cancellation in one account affects a subscription purchased by another account.

Cancellation, access and a new charge
Ubisoft says active Membership perks remain available until the subscription period ends. Cancelling renewal is therefore different from an immediate refund request. Do not interpret remaining access as proof that cancellation failed.
If a charge appears around the renewal date, compare the invoice time with the cancellation confirmation. Ubisoft notes that an already issued invoice can be in payment processing. Contact the billing provider with both records. This guide does not promise a refund; the provider must review the actual order and applicable conditions.
