R6 Renown Boosters: Duration, Team Bonuses and Stacking
Before activating a Renown Booster, check its type, duration and the session you actually have planned. Renown progress and Battle Pass progress are not interchangeable.

Find the right booster first
Ubisoft’s content guide places Boosters under your profile in the main menu. Confirm that the item increases Renown, rather than Battle Points, before planning around it. Record the remaining quantity, displayed duration and activation conditions.
Do not activate a consumable simply to see what the button does. If you are about to leave, wait until you have a session planned. The relevant measure is the time window shown by the active timer; do not assume the countdown pauses whenever you stop playing. Compare the timer before and after a break if you need to establish its behavior in the current client.

Team stacking: what the published model means
Ubisoft’s June 2016 update described a 100% personal bonus, 10% from each additional boosted teammate, and an extra 50% when the full team used Boosters. For five boosted players, that historical model produced 190% bonus Renown. This is a dated explanation, not an independently verified 2026 rate.
“190% extra” means a total of 290% of the qualifying base reward, not 190% of the base. As a calculation example, a hypothetical eligible base of 100 would become 290. Actual match payouts can contain separate components; do not multiply the entire visible total without checking what the bonus applies to.
Check a claim before spending Credits
Use the current client to compare the advertised bonus with the reward breakdown. Keep the mode, match result and reward components in view; a win followed by a loss is not a controlled comparison. This article does not promise a fixed hourly earnings rate.
A practical note sheet needs only four fields: active booster type, timer, number of boosted teammates and the bonus line shown after the match. That makes a claim such as “it did not stack” easier to investigate than two unrelated screenshots of total Renown.
| Before activation | After a match |
|---|---|
| Confirm Renown rather than Battle Points | Read the Renown bonus component |
| Note the timer and session length | Check how much active time remains |
| Agree which teammates will activate | Check the displayed team contribution |

When a booster is not the best next step
If your goal is a Battle Pass tile, start with its points and route requirements. If your goal is a missing purchased item, investigate delivery instead. Activating a Renown Booster does not address either problem.
For a Renown purchase goal, first compare the amount you still need with the sessions you can realistically play. Use the booster when the timing fits, rather than turning a small reward target into an unnecessary paid purchase.
Frequently asked questions
Is a 100% bonus twice the base reward?
Mathematically, yes: base plus 100% of that base equals 200%. Check which reward components qualify.
Are the historical team percentages guaranteed today?
No. The cited numbers describe the 2016 update. Confirm the current activation text and payout breakdown.
