Clash of Clans Builder Base and Builder Hall Explained: What the Level Means
A Builder Hall level on a Clash of Clans listing looks like a progress number, but it measures a separate village. Learn how the Builder Base works, what Builder Hall levels unlock, and what the number does and does not say about the account.

1. What the Builder Base is
Supercell's Builder Base basics page says you rebuild your boat at Town Hall 6 and set sail for the Builder Base. The boat can bring you back to the Home Village at any time. The Builder Base has its own Builder Hall, its own buildings and resources, and its own battles and leagues.
The practical consequence for a buyer is that the two villages progress separately. Older guides say Town Hall 4, and the community wiki says older accounts can use the boat at Town Hall 4, so judge by the Builder Hall level the account shows.
2. Builder Hall levels and what they change
Builder Hall 10 is the highest level in the sources we checked, and we found no announcement of a higher one. Rows 6 and 9 come from Supercell. Rows 5 and 8 come from our hero guide, and row 10 from community wikis. Other unlocks are documented by community wikis and are not repeated here.

The four B.O.B tasks, according to Supercell's builders page, are to Gear Up three buildings in the Home Village, upgrade a Builder Base troop to level 18, upgrade a Builder Base defence to level 9, and upgrade the Builder Base heroes a total of 45 levels.
3. Builders and the May 2026 change
The Master Builder works in the Builder Base from the start, and a second builder, O.T.T.O, joins at Builder Hall 6. Supercell's May 2026 update added a further Builder Base builder, B.O.T.O. The update says he appears in the shop from Builder Hall 2 onwards, and that the Home Village builders must be unlocked first. He lets you run one more upgrade side by side.
What it means for a buyer. The number of builders working in the Builder Base is part of how fast it progresses. An account with a high Builder Hall but no B.O.T.O may not have bought him, or may not have unlocked every Home Village builder.

4. Battles, trophies and leagues
Builder Base has its own leagues and its own trophies. Supercell's support page says that if you have earned over 5,000 trophies, which is Emerald II or above, your Builder Base trophy count is reset back to 5,000 when the season ends. A number above 5,000 is therefore a seasonal snapshot, while a lower count is not reset.
Attacking a base at Builder Hall 6 or above requires a two-phase attack to conquer both stages. Builder Base progress and Home Village progress mostly use different resources, which is another reason the numbers do not translate.
5. What a Builder Hall level shows, and what it does not

- How many builders does the account have in each village, and is B.O.T.O bought?

- What are the Town Hall and Home Village hero levels, as separate facts?
- Is the information on the listing dated, and does it match Supercell's current pages?

No. It does not raise any Home Village level. Builder Hall 9 can unlock B.O.B as an extra Home Village builder, and Gems are shared.
