GTA 6 radio stations list: the six confirmed stations
Rockstar's radio post of 8 October 2026 calls the line-up "the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet" and introduces six stations with their hosts. The same six have previews on the official music page. The genres and host names below are Rockstar's own wording.

Two more formats are confirmed without a name: Rockstar says the stations span "everything from Classic Rock to Talk Radio". So the final list has at least eight stations. Rockstar has not given a total.
GTA 6 radio hosts: on-air names and the artists reported behind them
Rockstar's post uses only on-air names. The real artists behind them were reported by the music press on the same day, mostly via Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, with statements from some of the artists. We list them separately because Rockstar's own text does not name them.

Morgan Wallen appears in two places: as the reported co-host of Back Country Radio and as a confirmed artist on the album with "Last Thing You Need". Kotaku's round-up has the same host list. If Rockstar publishes credits that differ, this table changes first.
GTA 6 soundtrack: The Album and the nine singles so far
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album was announced on 17 September 2026. It is made with Atlantic Records, has 34 original tracks and launches on 19 November 2026 alongside the game. It is on pre-save on the major streaming services and on pre-order as vinyl and CD.

That leaves 25 of the 34 tracks unannounced. Rockstar has not said whether album tracks play on the in-game stations, so do not read the singles as a station playlist.

GTA 6 score: Justice composed the original score
The Launch Trailer post of 15 October 2026 names the electronic duo Justice as "composers of the original score from Grand Theft Auto VI". Their standalone single "Flower in a Hurricane" features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, plays in the Launch Trailer and is also on The Album.
Rockstar's 8 October post promised details on "Grand Theft Auto VI's dynamic score", and the 15 October post says to stay tuned for "the official score album". As of 23 October 2026 neither has a date. Score and radio are separate: the score plays in missions, the radio is what you tune to in a car or on your earbuds.

Trailer 1 went up on YouTube on the afternoon of 4 December 2023, US Pacific time, before Rockstar's Newswire post dated 5 December. Both dates refer to the same video. The Extended Look premiered on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET and on YouTube at 9 p.m. ET on 27 August 2026, so its YouTube count misses the Netflix audience.
How radio works in GTA 6: podcasts, earbuds and phones
- On-demand podcasts. A first for the series: a set of podcasts Jason and Lucia can play "beyond Leonida's terrestrial radio".
- Radio on foot. Radio and podcasts play in vehicles and on foot "through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones".
- Two protagonists. Rockstar names Jason and Lucia as the listeners; it has not said whether each keeps separate station presets.
- Previews. Each of the six stations has a roughly two-minute preview on the music page; Rockstar does not list the tracks heard in them.
